Nathan Chapman named March 2025 Student-Athlete of the Month

Congratulations to Nathan Chapman, our March Student-Athlete of the Month. The Jacobs High School grad is a sophomore playing for our Baseball team. The right-handed pitcher is back for another season after being part of MCC's 2023-24 team that captured NJCAA D1 Region 4 championship.

Head Coach Jared Wacker lauds Nathan, "He is a sophomore with a 4.00 GPA and will graduate this spring with an Associate in Arts degree. He is planning to major in Construction Management. Nathan is a starting pitcher for us this spring. He has battled back from injuries to be an important part of our pitching staff this spring. He has always shown his commitment to the classroom, excelling with a 4.00 GPA during his time here at MCC. He is undecided where he will go next fall, with baseball playing a part in that decision."

Athletic Director Karen Wiley adds, "Nathan has juggled his academics and athletic careers with great maturity and focus. He is on track to graduate as a NJCAA Academic All-American. He sets the bar of excellence for the team and our department."
