Congratulations to Lacey Schaffter, MCC's January Student-Athlete of the Month. The Woodstock North High School graduate plays for our Women's Basketball team. The 5'6" sophomore plays guard for the Scots. 

"Lacey has proven to be a tenacious defender and has worked diligently to improve her perimeter shooting. She is the kind of player we can count on every day and practice and is there to support her team in all ways," lauds Assistant Coach Kent Jones.

Lacey is also on the path to earning ISCC All-Academic honors again and graduating as an NJCAA Academic All-American. 

"We are proud and happy to see the growth and maturity of Lacey in all ways- athletically and academically. She has a bright future ahead of her," Director of Athletics Karen Wiley adds.
