The McHenry County College (MCC) women's softball team finished the 2018-19 season on top with an overall record of 18-15, placing runner-up in the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference at 8-4.

Pitcher Hailey Baker (Crystal Lake) was named Conference Pitcher of the Year, and Emily Atchison, Cydney Adams, Katie Rosio, and Baker were named to All-Conference teams. These honors come on the heels of first baseman Brianne Prank (Cary) being the first player in MCC history to be named to the NJCAA All-American team, earning third-team honors in 2017-18.

The team welcomed head coach Wally Warner in 2016. Since starting at the college, Coach Warner has grown and reinvigorated the women's softball program by recruiting top talent and placing a high value on the importance of teamwork. In 2018-19, the Scots enjoyed their best conference finish in nine years and the best season record in 11.
