Congratulations to Jonathon Stec, our February Student-Athlete of the Month. The Huntley High School grad is a sophomore playing for our Men's Tennis team.

He is the team's captain this year and this past fall he worked with both teams in extra drills and practices. This spring he will play #2 Singles and #1 Doubles with Nathan Neufeld.

Head Coach Jim Stockwell lauds Jon, "He may be the most complete doubles player I have ever coached — lightning quick from side to side and back and forth. He complements Nate's play with consistency and power. His mental game is as strong as I have ever seen, forgetting bad shots and moving on to the next one without allowing it to influence what he is doing. I am very proud to have Jon as a member of our program."

Jon is an outstanding student as well, earning ISCC All-Academic honors as a freshman and is on track to graduate as an NJCAA Academic All-American.
