Congratulations to David Aquino, our October Student-Athlete of the Month. The Harvard High School graduate has played on our Men's Soccer team for the past two seasons. David is a midfielder for the Scots and is tied on the team for lead in goals on the season.

Coach Jeff Nehila states, "David is the epitome of what a student-athlete is. He serves as a men's soccer team captain and leads by example. He has always had a high GPA and never misses team success tables. His leadership style is lead by example, focusing on success on and off the field. He plays through injuries and often plays out of his ideal position for the good of the team and accepts any role given to him. David is looking to attend and play at a four-year college next year. He is looking to major in marketing or business administration. MCC is very fortunate to have David be part of the Scot family."

David will graduate with an Associate in Science degree and is on track to earn ISCC All-Academic honors and NJCAA Academic All-American honors.

"David has all the tools to be successful on the pitch, in the classroom, and in life. He carries himself with maturity and class beyond his years. We are proud that such an area talent chose MCC as the place to grow as a student, athlete, and person," adds Director of Athletics Karen Wiley.
