Congratulations to Montreal McCullough, MCC's December 2023 Student-Athlete of the Month.

The Thornton Township High School graduate plays for our men's basketball team. The 6'2" sophomore is a combo guard for our 6-2 Scots. Montreal is averaging 11 points per game, 3 assists per game, and 61% from 3-point range which puts him at #3 in the nation. He had a game-high 29 points versus Milwaukee Tech who won the 2023 national tournament.

"Monte is an explosive athlete, knockdown shooter, and dynamic player in transition. He has proven to be a versatile defender who has often guarded the opponent's top perimeter player," lauds Head Coach Rashim Lettsome. He is also working hard in the classroom and is on track to earn ISCC All-Conference All-Academic honors this year.

"It has been awesome to see Monte grow as a player, student, and person. There are great things ahead for him, and we are proud to be a part of his development," adds Karen Wiley, Director of Athletics.
