Congratulations to Khalifa Muhammad, our December Student-Athlete of the Month. The Beckley Prep School grad is a 6'5" freshman forward for our men's basketball team.

"Khalifah is a very talented player on the basketball floor. What has been so great to see is how dedicated he is off the floor and in the classroom as well. He understands what it takes to be a student-athlete and continues to impress us each day. He has placed himself in a great position to move on to the next level to continue academically and athletically," lauds Assistant Coach Ryan Skinner.

"Although our basketball teams have not competed this winter, Khalifa has shown the resiliency and perseverance to remain focused on academic excellence. He is on his way this year to finish as ISCC Academic All-Conference. We are proud of his effort and dedication in representing MCC student-athletes in the classroom," adds Director of Athletics, Karen Wiley.
