Congratulations to Jeff Jankowski earning the MCC Student-Athlete of the Month honor for January. The Richmond-Burton High School graduate is a freshman for our men's basketball team.

Jeff is a 6'2 guard for the 2019-20 Scots this fall. The team is off to an 8-15 start. Jeff is averaging 15ppg and 4 rebounds. "Jeff had a tremendous semester as an athlete, and he was able to do the same in the classroom as he earned a 4.0 in his first semester of college. Jeff has continuously overcome adversity as both a student and an athlete. He is emerging as a leader not only on the court but also on campus. We are very excited and proud of what Jeff has been able to accomplish in his short time at MCC," adds Assistant Coach Ryan Skinner.

"We are proud an area student-athlete is representing MCC with excellence in the classroom and in competition. I am happy to see Jeff's growth as an athlete and student, learning quickly to balance the demands of both," adds Athletic Director Karen Wiley.
