The McHenry County College (MCC) men's basketball team is starting the 2019-20 season strong. Nearly halfway into the season, the Scots hold a 5-8 record and begin their conference games in early January.

The team recently claimed victory over Illinois Valley Community College in a 94-77 win. Jeff Jankowski (Richmond-Burton) scored 21 points, while Maki Mohr (McHenry East) scored 19 and led the Scots with 11 rebounds. Connor Chynoweth (Pinckney Community) and Andrew Cooke (Harvard) each scored 14 points.
