Congratulations to Aleicia Valldejuli, the MCC Student-Athlete of the Month for December 2019. The Jacobs High School graduate is a freshman for our Women's Basketball team.
Aleicia is a 5'10 forward for the 2019-20 Scots. The team is off to a 10-1 start this year and receiving votes in the NJCAA national poll.
"Aleicia has learned quickly how to balance a busy schedule of academics and athletics. She is an important piece of our success this season, showing improvements with each and every game. She has represented well in the classroom as well, maintaining a 4.0 GPA for the fall. We are so proud to have a student-athlete of her caliber part of our program and department. It is gratifying to know we are a part of her bright future," lauds Head Coach and Director of Athletics, Karen Wiley.
