Congratulations to Cydney Adams earning the MCC Student-Athlete of the Month honor for February. The Huntley High School graduate is a sophomore for our Softball team.
Cydney is a 5'6 Infielder for the 2019-20 Scots this spring. As a freshman, Cydney and the team finished the 2-18-19 season 12-18 overall and 8-9 in the conference. Cydney hit .411 with 16 Runs Batted In and had a .895 Fielding %. The team will begin to play this spring March 17 at Triton. Cydney earned Academic All-Conference honors as a freshman is on track to graduate as an NJCAA Academic All-American. She has been named this year's Team Captain.
Head Coach Wally Warner commends, "Cydney leads by example on and off the field. She is respected by her teammates and opponents."
