Rashim Lettsome returns to McHenry County College as the Head Men's Basketball Coach. Lettsome, a Waukegan High School graduate, was part of a regional and sectional championship before coming to play for the Scots 2004-06.  The point guard earned all-conference honors in 2006 and still holds MCC assists records.

Lettsome went on to attend and play at Dominican University in River Forest. As a 2008 graduate of Dominican, he earned two letters with the Stars and finished at the top of the Stars' era assist list. His 80% free throw percentage ranks third in program Dominican Men's Basketball history.

Lettsome continued his playing career with the Lake County Stars and the Kenosha Ballers of the Independent Basketball Association. He earned a team captain position for the Ballers championship runs in 2016 and 2017.  He returned to Dominican University in 2017 and served as Men's Basketball Assistant coach through 2021.

Coach Rashim Lettsome believes in the commitment to playing a winning brand of basketball, teaching life skills through the game, and helping guide young men to lead successful lives academically, athletically, and professionally. He recruits competitive, motivated, passionate student-athletes who are focused on doing well in the classroom and on the court to achieve their goals.
