Heading into the 2020 season Head Baseball Coach Jared Wacker has amassed an impressive career record of 342-143 (322-113 at MCC). Under Wacker, the Scots have won the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference three out of the last four years (2016, 2017, 2019) and won at least 40 games and been nationally ranked inside the top 20 each of the past 5 seasons. The Scots have also had remarkable success moving players on to the four year level since Wacker took over the program in the fall of 2011, with 92 players (including 35 with Division I schools) signing on to play baseball at the next level. Additional highlights include two players being selected out of MCC in the MLB Draft since 2016 and a NJCAA World Series appearance in 2016 where the Scots finished 7th.

Jared Wacker received his AS degree from MCC in 2000 and his BS degree in Marketing from Elmhurst College in 2002. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Wacker also works as the Coordinator of Student-Athlete Success at MCC. He and his wife, Amy, have two daughters Ella and Mila and they reside in Huntley, IL.
