Tanna Coss began working with MCC Athletics in June of 2022. Her responsibilities include attending all home athletic events such as games and practices.
Prior to coming to MCC, Tanna graduated from Aurora University in both 2020 and 2021. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, along with a master's degree in Exercise Science through AU. After graduating from AU, Tanna moved back near her hometown of Belvidere, Illinois where she worked as an Outreach Athletic Trainer at local high schools.
In 2022, Tanna decided to move out of the high school setting for athletic training, and into a collegiate setting. Tanna began working at Northwestern Medicine which is where she is contracted out of. She is excited to be a part of MCC Athletics and says that she “feels like she is exactly where she belongs.”
Tanna’s philosophy is to provide attentive, one on one care to all in need. She hopes to foster a positive environment in the athletic training room where everyone feels comfortable and welcomed. Tanna believes that no athlete or injury is the same and that she is ready to tackle every challenge that comes with injuries. Her main goal is to maintain the health and safety of our student-athletes here at MCC and plans on keeping them playing the sports they love.
