2023 Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees

The 2023 induction class includes Brianne Prank, Brett Stratinsky, and Kayli Trausch.

Brianne Prank  Brianne Prank is an excellent softball player for MCC from 2016-18. The Cary-Grove High School grad was the softball program’s first NJCAA All-American. Playing first base, she was named to the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) First Team in 2017 and 2018, and All-Region IV First Team in 2017 and 2018. In her sophomore season, she led her team and the region with an incredible .971 slugging percentage, including 45 RBIs and 7 home runs. Her fielding was exceptional as well with 203 putouts and zero fielding errors in the season. The outstanding season stats earned her NJCAA All-American Third Team honors in Spring 2018. She received a softball scholarship and continued her education at Purdue Northwest University in Hammond, Indiana. Prank currently resides in Crystal Lake and is the manager at Play It Again Sports

Brett Stratinsky   Brett Stratinsky was an exceptional baseball player for MCC from 2015-17. As a freshman, the Stagg High School graduate earned ISCC All-Conference and All-Region IV honors. With Stratinsky at first base, the 2016 squad went 44-13 overall, winning the conference and Region IV Tournament. As a freshman, Stratinsky was named to the prestigious NCJAA World Series All-Tournament Team. During his sophomore season, he again earned All-Conference and All-Region IV honors as the team played to a phenomenal 50-12 record, winning the conference. He also earned Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference All-Academic honors as a freshman and sophomore. Stratinsky still holds the program’s record for career home runs (27) and ties the program’s record for single-season home runs (16). He continued his education and playing career at Middle Tennessee State University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business. He currently is a project manager with New Design at Lerch Bates, Inc. in the Chicagoland area.

Kayli Trausch   Kayli Trausch was an outstanding volleyball player for MCC from 2014-16. The Cary-Grove High School grad was an NJCAA First Team All-American in 2016. The 2015 and 2016 teams finished their seasons as conference and region champions. Kayli earned ISCC All-Conference honors in 2015 and 2016 and was awarded ISCC Player of the Year for the 2016 season. She earned the 2016 Region IV Player of the Year honors, was named to the Region IV All-Tournament team, and ultimately garnered NJCAA First Team All-American status. She graduated from MCC as an ISCC All-Academic honoree as well. Kayli is first in the MCC Volleyball program's all-time blocks in one season (157), third in kills per/set (3.90), and third in total kills (519). She was offered a scholarship opportunity at Marquette University. Kayli went on to continue her academic career at Auburn University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business.
